Originally built in 1962, Brookdale Center is part of the original “Dale” centers in the Minneapolis market designed by world-renowned architect Victor Gruen.  The center underwent a massive expansion and renovation that features the newest thinking in regional shopping malls and an additional 125,00 sq. ft. of in-line specialty store GLA for a total square footage of 1.1 million.  It is anchored by Macy's, Sears, Steve and Barry's and Kohl's.
