Built in 1974 as a small, 400,000 sq. ft., two-level mall, Roswell Town Center floundered since its inception. Purchased by Talisman Companies in 1994, it was abundantly evident that conversion to a power strip center was the only way the center would remain competitive in the crowded, changed retailing environment of the early '90s. Previous owners had been reluctant to undertake such a major renovation.
Today, Roswell Town Center is a thriving power strip center with a GLA at 505,000 sq. ft. Merchants include Value City, Burlington Coat Factory, Gold’s Gym, Hobby Lobby, Rugged Warehouse, Shoe Gallery, Star Time Family Entertainment Center, featuring 75,000 sq. ft. of indoor, and three acres of outdoor, location-based entertainment venues and miscellaneous local/regional tenants. |
